Head of Post required - Pacific7
Pacific7 is looking for a Head of Post. The successful candidate will need to be a creative, intelligent editor with a keen eye and a good technical knowledge. It’s a challenging role that will require a variety of skills. Not least of which will be getting on with a small team of hard working creatives.
As well as being a competent on line editor the role involves running a small studio. We run 3 Mac edit suites running the latest Creative Suite software, so a technical background and knowledge of Mac systems is very important.
As Head of Post you will be responsible for quality control of outputs and consequently attention to detail is essential. You will also be required to manage content so a tidy organized brain is paramount. Your role will be split predominantly between editing and managing the studio, however you will be involved in every facet of the company from client meetings to pitches.

We are looking for a hard working conscientious individual who will want to grow with Pacific7 as a member of the team. This is not a short term position.
Salary will be determined on experience.
Skills required:
- Final cut 6/7
- AE
- Compression software – Episode/ compressor
- DVD Studio pro
- Basic operating systems –Mac
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
