Focus on New Member - BTV Post

BTV Post was formed in 2000 to supply post production services to broadcast production companies on the South Coast; 10 years later we are ranked 24th nationally and 5th regionally with facilities in Brighton and Soho. BTV Post has grown from its broadcast roots into a content creation facility servicing all areas of HD and 3D video production.

Working closely with our clients BTV Post has delivered projects to brands including The Body Shop, Unilever, Virgin, Fujitsu and LG. We regularly work with public sector organisations such as the NHS and local and national government agencies.

BTV Post prides itself on being at the cutting edge; blending the latest technology with creative talent to deliver high quality content on behalf of our clients. As part of the Electric Sky group of companies we offer a wide range of services covering the facilitation of production through to distribution services for broadcast and digital cinema.

BTV Post’s core business is post production including tape transfers and file based delivery offering a full range of editing suites; offline/online, audio and high end grading/finishing. We can facilitate the complete package for high definition acquisition and post production including live performances. Past projects have been filmed at the Royal Opera House, Shakespeare’s Globe and Saddler’s Wells.

BTV Post was one of the first companies to produce stereoscopic 3D (s3D) content in the UK and is now at the forefront of stereoscopic content creation. Our mission is to promote this medium for all types of visual content ensuring our clients are ahead of the competition. We can guide first time stereo producers through the whole process and finish their project to the standards required. We are currently post producing 26 hours of s3D content which will be broadcast internationally in early 2011; including a 3D series about the world’s top brands.

We are thrilled to have become part of the IVCA collective and look forward to engaging with our fellow members over the coming years.
