IVCA Appoint Des Good As New Chairman

At the AGM at Baker Tilly on 29th July, the IVCA appointed Des Good as its new Chairman. Des was one of the founder members of the IVCA and has been actively involved in the industry for over 30 years both working in production and latterly running a production company. During his acceptance speech, he thanked outgoing Chairman James Humphreys for his sturdy leadership over the last two years, and then went on to say that the IVCA would use its collective experience to help eachother raise awareness of the sector. He concluded his speech by saying,  "As your new chair, I will endeavour to guide the board, so that they truly represent your interests. In these tough times it’s very easy to be negative, so as fellow IVCA members let’s draw upon our strengths and let’s be positive for the year ahead."
