A well attended Seminar entitled 'Communications for a Better World – multi-platform approaches to ethical media production' was held at this years Broadcast Video Forum, Earls Court on January 31st. The question of ’How can the communication industry work to promote a more sustainable and socially inclusive world?’ was the topic of discussion.

Dr Peter Davies the political editor of Ethical Corporation Magazine introduced a range of winners from the 2007 IVCA Clarion Awards accompanied by contextualised film extracts. Every media platform was represented including both broadcast and corporate work. The subjects were as diverse and important as paedophilia, climate change, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility and the seminar outlined both the social and cultural importance of such work as well as its substantial business case.
