IVCA Clarion Award Winners Announced
This year's IVCA Clarion Award Winners were announced to an audience of 500 leading figures from Business, Government and the Arts on Friday 28th September. Guests gathered at the National Film Theatre in the BFI Southbank to celebrate the role of the media industries in promoting a sustainable world.
During the ceremony celebrity winners such as Moira Stuart, Kevin Spacey, Julie Christie and PD James spoke about the importance of ethical communications and collected awards alongside some of the UK's leading businesses and finest communicatons companies.
The Clarion Awards were launched 5 years ago and celebrate the finest examples of responsible communication on Sustainable Development, Cultural Aspiration, Social Inclusion and CSR.
Among the 40 winners this year were the forthcoming Leonardo DiCaprio climate change film, The 11th Hour; The Royal Navy for their film on the Abolition of Slavery; WWF for their film One Planet Living and the Child Exploitation Online Protection Centre for their work in ensuring the safety of young internet users.
