Awards for International Live Events and Experiences

Celebrating the finest examples of overseas trade by UK producers

IVCA LiveCom has been developed by the International Visual Communication Association (Europe’s largest professional body for business and public sector communicators) in partnership with UK Trade and Investment, to promote excellence in overseas trade in live and experiential communications.

Awards may be presented to companies based in the UK:

  • who have been commissioned to produce projects overseas by clients based overseas
  • or have been commissioned by the UK arm of a multi-national company whose head office is based outside the UK

Award Categories

The Internal Experience Award

For the effective use of live events to communicate specific goals and messages to an organisation’s internal audience. This includes, but is not limited to, employee communications, motivational projects and training.

The External Experience Award

For the effective use of live events to engage specific external audiences for such purposes as brand building, training, press launches, PR events, recruitment etc. This category does not include direct sales environments that can be entered into the Commercial Experience Award.

The Learning Experience Award

For exhibition projects and environments designed for non-profit organisations for educational/informational purposes including museums, galleries or the equivalent.

The Award for Innovation

For outstanding innovation in live event content or support technology.

The Commercial Experience Award

For the creation of outstanding environments designed to promote goods or services including trade shows (business to business and business to consumer), stores and roadshows, etc.

The Entertainment Experience Award

For the creation of an experience or event whose purpose is to entertain members of the public. Entries could include, but are not restricted to, themed rides and theme park entertainments, immersive theatrical experiences, festivals and cultural events.

The Global Achievement Award

For a single event or experience that is designed to impact on more than one international audience. Eg experiences accompanying major sporting events, charity campaigns and awards ceremonies.
