2010 IVCA Meet the Commissioners in association with Audio Network

We are delighted to confirm the line up for our ever-popular Meet the Commissioners Seminar, which again is sponsored by our friends from Audio Network. The seminar gives the opportunity to hear views on the procurement of production work from the eyes of the commissioner. Each commissioner will explain the procurement practice from their own organization before answering questions from an audience of production creative. Our panellists currently include;

  • Melissa Stevenson, Manager of TV Production at The Royal Bank of Scotland
    Melissa manages TV production at The Royal Bank of Scotland. She controls workflow and allocates jobs both internally to in-house producers and externally as a commissioner. They make around 200 programmes per year ranging from learning based dramas, to promos and conference films. RIBS do not have a closed suppliers list and utilise specifically the IVCA Awards in order to find potential partners.
  • Simon Hughes, Director of Live Events - COI Live Events
    The live events team produces and commissions public sector events including exhibitions, road shows, conferences, launch events, event vehicles, awards ceremonies, experiential activity, interactive systems and large-scale public consultations.
  • Adeela Warley, Head of Communications - Friends of the Earth
    Appointed Head of Communications in 2004, Adeela leads the FOE communications strategy. Has worked on some of the FOE's most high profile campaigns including Mahogany is Murder, Real Food, Safer Chemicals and most recently the award winning Big Ask Climate Change Awareness Campaign. Adeela heads a team of 26 communications staff responsible for Media and Public Relations, Publishing and New Media and Creative Communications (design and events)
  • Simon Devine, Head of Moving Image - COI Moving Image
    COI Moving Image is the central production resource for government departments and public sector clients.
  • Marco Forgione, CEO – IVCA

Marco Forgione is Chief Executive of Europe's largest trade body for Corporate Communications and will chair the event.
