We are delighted to invite you to the IVCA/Briffa IP and Copyright Seminar & Surgery for 2012. This is always one of our most popular seminars of the year and early booking is strongly advised.
The seminar will look at IP and Copyright issues, how to protect yourself and earn from your IP and also will allow you to ask questions of the expert media law team at Briffa. Some of the aspects covered will be:
- The different types of IP rights and how they affect your business;
- IP Ownership and freelancers – how to ensure you own the work produced;
- IP Clearance – what licences do you need and what usages may get you in to trouble;
- IP and Clients – delivering contracts that help keep clients for the long term and potential compromises you may need to make; and
- Enforcing rights and litigation – how to take a commercial approach.
The cost to attend this event which will include networking is:
